The ARThouse is excited to present ‘Awakening’ a series of artworks by Campbelltown artist Gina Law. The exhibition opens on the 16th of September from 6pm. The public is welcome to attend the opening and if you fancy a little visual stimulation with your meal, Gina’s work will be on display until the end of November.

Gina has lived in the Campbelltown area near the bushland of the Georges River for the last 20 years and finds this a great subject to draw and paint. “The landscape of the Georges river reserve has etched itself into my subconscious and has a sense of belonging to me” she said. Her artistic style has come from many influences and experiences. There are aspects of abstraction and also elements of expressionism in her work. She derives her inspiration from nature and human emotions that she has experienced.

The ARThouse is committed to supporting local artists and celebrating the creativity & artistic skill of the Macarthur community through The ARThouse local artist program. “We will be hosting art exhibitions, enabling local artists to showcase their work” said Fraser Offord, Manager of The ARThouse. “Local artists are invited to submit their work for an opportunity to exhibit here”.
