Items Needed for Macarthur District Temporary Family Care Centre

 

 

Macarthur District Temporary Family Care has been given a house at Airds to use as a respite centre for the intellectually and physically disabled. The Centre will be used Mon to Fri for 5 to 18 year olds and on weekends for adolescents.

They would like to open the centre in 6 weeks, but need some support to get it up and running.

They need the following items, and any help or discount would be greatly appreciated:

  • 2 x split air conditioners plus fitting
  • Fridge - small freezer on top is OK
  • Microwave
  • Washing Machine
  • Portable Dishwasher
  • General Kitchenware
  • Plastic Chairs and Folding Tables for activities
  • L shape or two x two seater lounge
  • Blinds - roll up
  • Office Furniture
  • BBQ
  • TV/DVD
  • Games
  • Computer for kids to use

The side of the house will be completed with a mural and sponsors/supporters names will be in some way recognised on the house.
