Man charged with firearms offences: Leppington

A man has been charged after police allegedly seized five firearms during an operation in Leppington yesterday.

Police say they also located ammunition, 453 grams of cannabis and half a kilogram of what's believed to be a restricted substance used in the veterinary industry.

A 47-year-old man was arrested following the search and charged with a number of offences at Narellan Police Station.

It's being alleged by police that he is an associate of the Rebels outlaw motorcycle gang.

He'll face Parramatta Bail Court today.
