Always one of the country’s most talented vocalists, Vanessa Amorosi’s recent open-armed embrace of new experiences and big vision has led to her creating some of her finest and most innovative work to date.

With eight ARIA Award nominations and one prestigious APRA Award under her belt, not to mention her most played record on Australian radio in 2008, the anthemic ‘Perfect', as well as an internationally high-profile collaboration with Hoobastank on the US act’s single “The Letter”, the time was right for Amorosi to take steps down an exciting new path.

As Australia's most powerful vocalist, Vanessa Amorosi has achieved staggering sales and debuts at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart with fierce new anthemic release 'This Is Who I Am'.

Emotional, melodic, dynamic, and powerful are words that come to mind when introduced to the band Porcelain.

Originally formed in Wollongong (Australia) and more recently based in Los Angeles (USA), Porcelain has a unique lineup and an original sound. Their sound is based on the dynamic vocals of female front Lo Roberts, the powerful melodic guitars of Ben Richards, the emotional layers of electric violinist (and ex Gnarls Barkely band member) Asha Mevlana and the strength of rhythm section Ewen Penberthy-Groves (Bass) and Michael Avenaim (Drums).

Twenty Two year old singer songwriter Penny Hartgerink from Kiama performs solo acoustic gigs up and down the coast.

In February 2008 she released a five-track CD of origional songs called FOUR DAYS, which quickly went to number 1 on the Australian Independent Release charts for EPs and singles.

In March 2008, Penny opened the Union of Soul concert at Wollongong Botanic Gardens which was headlined by the John  Butler Trio, Clare Bowdich, Lior and Gotye.

The band consists of four year 10 Kiama High School students, all drawing their musical influences from Pop/Rock Bands such as We The Kinds, Mayday Parade, Boys Like Girls, The Academy Is, Forever The Sickest Kids, The Maine and The Getaway Plan.

The band members are: Joe Knott, 16 - vocals and guitar, Ryan Mullaney, 15 - bass guitar, Matt Lewis, 15 - guitar and Jordan Dunster, 16 - drums.

As a 4 piece band they have been finalists in the Mercury/Bluescope Steel Band Comp, the i98FM Battle of the Bands, the Wollongong Wail Band Comp and Youth Rock 09, where they came 4th in the state. They have also played several charity events.

The highlight of their career so far has been the support slot at The Metro Theatre, Sydney, in early July, where they played to a full house as the opening band for Short Stacks Sway Sway Baby Tour.
