Transport Minister opens Shellharbour Junction Train Station
The Transport Minister has just unveiled a plaque at the new $39 million new Shellharbour Junction Train Station - before it officially opens to passengers tomorrow.
It features two lifts, CCTV surveillance, a car park with 105 spaces and an interchange with two bus bays.
Gladys Berejiklian has been joined by Minister for the Illawarra John Ajaka, and Kiama MP Gareth Ward who says it's great to finally see the station opening.
Meantime, the Mayor of Shellharbour says not being invited to the opening of the new train station today is "petty politics".
Marianne Saliba says she and her councillors have been completely overlooked.
